I’ve worked in the food department for consumer and customer magazines for over 15 years, embracing the art of food styling. I enjoy using a natural style for editorial shots but also love using an intricate and precise technique when needed for advertising and packaging work.

I’m always up for a creative challenge, especially when it comes to the imaginative nature of cake design, I have been lucky enough to work on some great ‘cakey’ commissions – utilising my artistic streak. A career highlight has been having my own cookbook, Fantasy Cakes, published – a complete dream come true.

As the food editor for Sainsbury’s projects in creative services for Seven Publishing, I enjoyed working on a wide variety of projects, from developing humble (but cute!) ‘bumble-bee’ biscuits for print to ‘making your roast go further’ for a nationwide televised campaign.

I enjoy interviewing celeb chefs as well as more research-based writing. I can’t get enough of writing about food, hence my blog Britalian Kitchen – a fusion fest of British & Italian food.

Always looking for new adventures, I’ve embraced projects for online food video content. Recent video clients include Jamie Oliver Ltd, Bird’s Eye and Sainsbury’s.

Full of ideas and a bubbling passion for creating beautiful and delicious food – no brief is too big, small or unusual!
